This breed is rather expensive, because it is very difficult to mate and raise. Show quality dogs may reach up to $10,000, but there is no guarantee that you will be able to show the dog, because much depends on the home atmosphere in which the dog is raised. Pet quality animals are much cheaper, they have minor faults, which are unacceptable in show rings, and have to be spayed or neutered. Such dogs make good family pets and have the same temperament as show quality animals. Puppies with serious faults are euthanized.
